HD Dell Laptop to old CRT TV
A friend of mine just gave me his old TV (its old, not HD). I download movies onto my laptop and my laptop can play dvds as well. So I wanted to connect my laptop (Dell XPS) to my tv. I bought a S-Video to RCA cable.
I can't seem to get it to work. Most of the time the tv is just black. But when I play around with the resolutions, the tv will flash my desktop background. But thats it, it goes back to black. I've also tried the Fn + F8. This also makes the TV flash my background on the first button press. My laptop screen go black on the second and on the third the tv flashes any windows I have up then goes to black.
I'm out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Chris W

Great to know that I'm special. It's still completely hosed. Style sheet issues?
