Backed up Money 2004 Standard on external hard drive. Backed up from a Dell Dimension 4600 running XP that crashed after backing up. Have a new Gateway with 64 bit Vista and Money Essentials loaded in as part of MS Works. When I tried to boot my Money 2004 disc I got message that all other Money programs had to be deleted first. I have two questions: 1-Will Money Essentials accept the Money 2004 backup data-if so, what do I do? 2-Of course, I'd like to be able to do (1) if possible, but if not, can I delete Money Essentials from MS Works without causing problems? If no problems, what's best way to delete? That is, is there a way of hiding it somewhere's else, or maybe can I put it on an external drive to recover at some other time? BTW, I['m asking these questions because MS doesn't support Money 2004 aly longer. Thanks.
