I cannot get rid of about 100 photo icons from startup screen. It's only about 7 photos replicated and don't know why it's happened. I've sent all to recycle and emptied, tried various Restore points yet each time I start up they're back again.Have emptied My Pictures and uninstalled all old programs to no avail . System windows XP desktop machine. S/surfer non techie needs advice please.
problem solved by computer savvy neighbour but wasn't able to follow his method as he was too quick and didn't explain so sorry that I can't pass on the How To do it but thanks for anyone who looked. elk44
