Fuji digital camera

I have a fuji digital camera, model finepix 2800zoom, 5v- 4w, and we have replace the batties in the camera, w/ new recharging batties, and not keep charge, and power off like it should, I have check the setting on the camera the are correct, I need to know how to find info, on repair it. thanks

The first thing I think of is bad knock-off batteries. A lot of the cheap batteries/chargers on the market are NOT able to provide the energy to correctly charge the batteries, or the batteries are unable to provide enough juice to run the camera. Were the replacements original manufacturers batteries, or generic? I suggest you buy directlly from the manufacturer to get good quality batteries.

IF you bought a set of generic rechargeable batteries, did you ensure they were compatible with your camera?
