subnet mask
trying to solve a cisco problem, ip address 172.31.0.0 /16 that has 3 networks with the largest needing 248 hosts, what would be by subnet mask

/16 is 255.255.0.0
248 hosts can fit into a single class C and leave a few IP's open for the gateway
255.255.255.0
the rest of the problem, I dont know
