Broke again

Having trouble with giga pocket again. System ran a registry clean up and now giga pocket will not open. "Another application is using hardware overlay. Retry after exiting application. When another application does not exist, Windows high refresh settings might be inappropriate." No applications are running and not sure about the high refresh settings.

Check out this thread: Sony Giga Pocket - Hardware overlay conflict

In the last message you will find what I think is the best answer:

Because of the observations made by several folks here, I traced the cause to the registry cleaner found in Glary Utilities, a free download from CNET. I restored my Giga Pocket by reinstalling the update found in Sony esupport dated 8-21-2004 and then uninstalled Glary Utilities. Problem solved! Yes, it was an overly aggressive registry cleaner that'd brought on my problem. ;-)
