Conexant Smart Audio 221-no stereo mixer
I would like to broadcast music in a chat room. I have a laptop pc (hp campaq 450-142) vista home premium, 32bit, and the sound card does not have a mixer. Can you recommend another sound card or what i can do to make this one work.

Hi there welcome to TIMO. By chat room do you mean something like yahoo or aim chats? If so that has nothing to do with your sound card.

Hmm PayTalk is a bit different animal than I'm use to. If you don't have the mixer options then you might try updating to the latest drivers from hp, if that doesn't work then this walk through might also help Playing Music in Paltalk

conexant audio/ no stereo mixer option?
Toshiba Satellite T135D- S1324
Does not have the option to have a Stereo mixer to play through my sound card for Paltalk. I have checked both options in the recording option in the audio section. Nothing shows for any other options. I have been to Paltalk helps. They have told me that my sound card does not support that option. It should since I just got this thing. Any other computer that I have had has had this option. I have been to my manufacturing site. I have been to the European topics. I have tried to see updated versions for my audio and have not found any. I have contacted Toshiba Technical Support, and they were not able to give me an answer but rather told me that they will be calling me back. I have not heard anything back from them.
I would like to know if there is a way just to add it without having to change my sound card. Which I think I shouldn't have to do. I would like to just get a updated version of this driver to have this option. I would rather pay a small amount then pay for a whole new sound card. If you catch my drift.... please help!!! anyone!!

Semantics. The end result of less taxes is more revenue for the company. That can be re-invested, paid out as dividends, or stashed. And that is bad, how? This is the same exact argument...
