Icons, start menu gone, right click not working, task manager not working.

I uninstalled norton antivirus and restarted and now all that shows is the desktop picture. Icons are gone, as well as start menu. It won't let me right click, and ctrl+alt+delete doesn't do anything. Nothing works at all! I need help! anyone?

Try restarting again first.

You also need to try Safe Mode:

Try using System Restore from Safe Mode. Notice that there are other choices on the advanced boot menu. Try "Last Known Good..." too.
