Power led on case not working

Hi

I have a galaxy 3 atx case and the green power led has not been working on it.

I have checked the plus and minus wires are on the right way on the motherboard.

The problem is not with the motherboard as I put the hdd led wires on the power led connectors on the motherboard and it lit up.

How can I resolve this issue?

I would really appreciate any help from anyone.

thanks

leds are easily bought in electronic stores. No ID needed for it. Bring the led along of your case to match it.
You can even choose the colour.
Probly the led that's broken.

front panel of any case should easily come off.
It's possible that you'll need to remove the weldings on the leds connectors (depending from case to case)
But it shouldn't be as hard as placing a new cpu socket...

Yes I will have a go at it later thanks.

It is not worth me sending the computer for warranty as it will cost me £40 for the carriage costs to send it there and back. So I will have to do it myself.
