1) what OS are you running?
2) Did you install the "software" from LG?
|--> if YES: Remove the software
Insert a memory card in your phone (Micro SD cards start from € 5 for 1GB in Belgium)
Connect your phone to your PC.
Your PC will tell you that an external removable storage device has been connected and it'll install it (same procedure like inserting an USB stick).
you'll only be able to gain access to the micro SD card, but that should be enough.
Another way is getting Bluetooth on your PC. (sticks are from € 5 also)
But trying to use the software of LG is not worth your time.
I work in a phone store, and I have never ever got a customer that got the software working.
