Power surge and now no CPU power?

I'm not exactly sure what happened, but I think there was a power surge where my computer is (although it's been plugged in the exact same way for years without problems) and now the computer won't power up at all. All the plugs seem to be in the right places and everything else gets power (speakers, printer, etc) and there's even a blinking light on the CPU tower right under where the power cord plugs in, but that's it.

Unplug the power cord from the back of the pc for a minute or so..If that doesn't help then hopefully all you need is a new power supply and not a new mother borard.
