FM transmitter...killed my audio??

Hello, I recently started to use an FM transmitter to transmit internet programs to my home
radios. Now, when I unplug it from the back of the computer and plug in my speakers, there
is no audio, but there still is when I replug the transmitter. Could the transmitter have done
something bad, or maybe fatal to my speaker connection? Any suggestions?

Go into Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Audio and select the appropriate playback source. At the bottom of the panel, clear the "Use only default devices" selection.
