My guess is a small spyware popup that isnt fully loading...
Most malware is poorly written or incomplete...
I would run Spybot after updating, and allowing it to immunize.
Then run Malwarebytes...
Both can be found free at Filehippo.com

look at the graphic he put up, its a BLANK Opera box in the start bar. I agree it is probably a malware OR an unfinished page that is trying to load.
They say technology slows down for no one. I know it outruns my wallet. I figure its because my wallet isn't light enough yet.

no. the box was the there right after windows login, i started up opera because i was gonna post here. in other words: the button box came before anything else, i started up opera myself and it was functioning correctly, it says blank page when loading a site, in this matter: techimo
Edit: and it didnt go away after it loaded techimo, i would have had to reboot to get it to go away, and i did run spybot s & d, i got 2 ad things off. It might have been one of thoseLast edited by TimeDeatH; January 29th, 2009 at 05:13 PM.

Caused by ASUS AI process
If you go into task manager and turn off the ASUS AI process it disappears, so it is not malware just a bug in the ASUS SW suite

Install WinPatrol Startup Programs
WinPatrol Features: Startup Programs
After install, do a reboot. Check the startup tab in Winpatrol. Make a list of whats in the tab. Then the next time the window with the 3 buttons appear, check the startup tab in Winpatrol and see if another program is now listed.
