Fujitsu Siemens D1840w - Help Needed
hi, i have the notebook listed above, it all works ok when its running off the battery.
but when i plug in the charger it wont boot to windows.
if i boot to windows with just the battery then plug in the charger, windows crashes and i have to restart, anyone know of any solution to this?
the laptop spec is:
p4 3.06ghz
512mb ram
128mb ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000
windows xp home.
dont wana go spending money on a new charger if it isnt the problem, thanks in advance

If it isn't a bad power supply, it's a bad charging circuit inside the laptop. The power supply is a much cheaper fix and a necessary step for troubleshooting this problem.
No one here - or anywhere else - can troubleshoot this thing remotely. It's up to you whether you believe that it's worth the effort and money.MCSE, MCP and nut job
