Tapi32.dll not found
I've encountered this error when I tried to start my internet explorer, my desktop is currently running xp professional.
Please help!!!
Error message--> dwwin.exe unable to locate component
this application has failed to start because TAPI32.dll is not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
a copy of tapi32.dll can be found in my desktop at c:\windows\system32

Are you running any antivirus at all? If not, try this:
AVG Free - Download antivirus and antispyware software for Windows XP and Vista
Also, run this:
Malwarebytes.org
After scanning and cleaning, repair XP:
How to Perform a Windows XP Repair InstallMCSE, MCP and nut job
