This problem started up a few months ago but now it is really getting annoying. It seems whenever I play a game or do something visually demanding, I get the infamous "Display driver has stopped responding and has recovered" message. Sometimes it appears instantly, sometimes it takes a few hours, and sometimes I get through a game without a single hickup. I tried numerous different drivers including ones which were stable for me previously and newer ones which were released only a few days ago. Either way, the problem pertains. Now, I occasionally get a flickering screen with artifacts and red/green pixels dotted on the screen when the computer comes to the desktop after a boot. It seems that the problem comes up spontaneously as sometimes I get through a day without single hitch but other days I get this problem.
The video card is not overheating as the card idles around 50C-51C idle and around 58C-60C full load. I have tried numerous fixes posted online but I am beginning to think the card is crapping out on me. Is there anything else I can do or should I just ship mine in?
