suddenly cannot save or publish

I get this message: server error. Cannot close service.cnf

When i try again, it lets me go thru the process until saving,
when it says 'write error..."

This happens on a website that is SAVED on my hard drive.
I saved in january on this computer, but can't now.

Also, doesn't seem to matter what computer I use. Tried two.

Please advise. Must republish.

Are you using some sort of software to do this save? If so, I wonder if you mentioned the name of it if that would help?
