Files corrupt after restoring with EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard

I just used EASEUS Data Recovery Wizard to restore files from my external hard drive. It found most of the files I thought I had lost (documents, photos, music), but I cannot open any of the files after restoring to my local hard drive leaving me to believe they are corrupt. I don't know if this matters, but EASEUS DRW wasn't able to find any "Lost Files", it was only able to find "RAW Files." Any suggestions?

See my previous post for more details on my data loss situation:

I must admit I do not have a licensed copy of EASEUS DRW, however I am seriously considering purchasing the software in order to speak with their technical support. I would like to rule out solving the problem on my own first (with your assistance of course.) Any possibility that I can reconstruct the partition? Several members have suggested TestDisk, but I am not familiar with the program and very concerned about doing further damage to my data. Any suggestions?

As I've tried to tell you, the trial version will not work on what may be a dynamic disk. You need the Easus Professional version. You can also use R-Studio, GetDataBack or OnTrack.

Hey - if the data is truly important to you, pay for one of them.

I am using the EASEUS DRW Professional. As I said before, the software found and restored the files to my local hard drive, however I am unable to open them.

Doh! I believe that due to the forum rules you won't have much chance of getting help using this software, in this manner, at this point. You could start a new thread and see what free options are available, but discussing pirated software is against forum rules. Sorry.

I purchased this software, because it gave me a discount, 20% off.

I never met your problem.

"it was only able to find "RAW Files." ==>have you ever changed the defalt setting??
