iPhone 3g deleted e-mail still in outlook/exchange

I have a client that deletes her mail on her iphone inbox. Usually you would think that with the phone setup with Exchange Activesync that it would sycronize with outlook/exchange, and the e-mail would be deleted there as well.

This is not the case. Whenever she deletes an e-mail from her iPhone, it still is in her inbox in outlook and exchange.

Does anyone know if this is a issue with the iPhone? Or is it a Exchange/server misconfiguration?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

She needs to configure IMAP support if she wants to have WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) e-mail.

POP3 accounts do not delete server content. IMAP does.
