Connect MP3 to Samsung 650 lcd

We just acquired a Sansa Fuse 8G MP3 and want to be able to use it through our TV sound system. We don't want to interface through our computer. The manual isn't clear on what we need to do. Can we do this? Does it require special wiring? We have gotten so far as to see the MP3 icons on the television screen then can't go any further. Please help!

What Model ## TV.... what type connection are you using between the TV/MP3

Model # LN46A650A1F, using USB connector--same one we used to connect MP3 player to our computer to download music...

Forgot to add--we got as far as WiseLink appearing on the TV screen with all the icons--but couldn't do anything after that. Just the frozen image of icons.

We are using the same connector we use to download audio from computer to MP3.
