| Computer shutting down while playing wow
Hey. My computer has been having issues for about 2 weeks now. One day i turned on my computer and it was randomly shutting down, i downloaded Speed Fan (A cpu / gpu / everything else temp monitor ) and realized that my cpu was overheating... i instantly thought that was the problem and called where i got it, and got a new one shipped out. I then installed it and was fine for about a week, my computer was porforming at what it always was.. ( 75 - 80 fps ). No more over heating.. after about a week the shut downs began again, i put another fan up against my computer equaling to 3.. when i run wow i run at about 75 c on the cpu meter, which is not bad.. and it still happens. my fps has dropped huge, and i am now having to run low settings to only got 20-30 in heroics.. i am not sure what the problem could be. It just turns off automatically, not shut down.. the turn offs are in the worst places possible too. and i dont want it to happen in raids.. please helpp
(Yes i have opened the case and looked for dust, cleaned it out, no dust at all)
My specs are..

| Sorry to say yes 75C is bad! Heck I don't like running anything over 50C. If your CPU is getting that hot then its also likely that your GPU is over heating. The combo of the two is likely the issue.

If those temps are right and you are running at 78-80C with very low CPU usage then that would be the first problem to fix. Is the a custom built PC, pre-manufactured or what? |

I ordered the parts all in a kit, so yes it was custom built. |

What HS/Fan are you using, are you sure that thing is on there right? Even with an OEM cooler at stock speeds there is no way you should be reaching those high of temps.
You might try realtemp or coretemp to make sure its not just speedfan. |
