I E 8 problems

IE 8 is considerably slower than IE 7. What is more, I just cannot save my log ons to forums etc. I use C Cleaner and all my favourite log ons are saved to the right hand page in options/cookies. I have tinkered with Internet options, and still as soon as I restart all my log on details have to be entered in web sites again. I cannot open new tabs either. I just hate this program, but Fire Fox is too slow as an alternative.

"IF" its slow to start/load up, try the following:
Speeding Up Internet Explorer 8
WindowsFixUp – Speeding Up Internet Explorer 8

For login - look in the security tab (i think) for InPrivate - make sure the sites you visit are "allowed."

Problems solved. I have now removed FF and Thunderbird which I had been trying out due to IE 8 problems. I don't know why MS mess about with peoples settimgs with program updates, and make things so difficult.

Further to the above. Re starting up today IE is still fast, but is NOT remembering log ons. I have checked three particular sites i,n Internet Options to accept cookies, but each time I re start the computer I have to log on afresh to these sites. I use XP Home SP3 fully updated.

I experimented by removing the safe site U.R.L's which I had typed in. I then opened the page for each site in turn and copied and pasted in the U.R.L's. Although they looked the same it has solved the problem.

I tired this and it dind't help me at all. I am still having the issue where I try to go to, lets say a kijiji.,ca ad. I lok at the picutes but when I click on BACK TO AD at the bottom I get PAGE HAS EXPIRED and every sinlge time I still have to click retry. It's totally annoying.

Also, almost every freakin website that I go to give me the THIS IS NOT A SECURE SITE DO YOU WANT TO DISPLAY THE WEB PAGE IN HTML ONLY? Of course I ahve to click no, but I ahve to do this with almost every single website. i have fiddled with the securty and advanced functions as well to no avail.
