2nd SATA DVD burner not recognized in Dell XPS

Dell XPS 410 want to install 2nd SATA DVD Burner. Mother board has 4 empty plug in slot but when 2nd DVD is plugged into one of them the Burner is not recognized. I realize SATA cannot be piggy backed. What needs to be done??

You didn't get any replies today because your subject "FB" is nonsense. Please use a more descriptive topic in the future. I have bumped your thread back up to the top of the sort and edited the title.

You probably need to go into the BIOS setup and enable the additional SATA port.
