forgot router access password

I have a DIR-655 Xtreme router s/n F37X48B006021 and cannot remember my password to connect an itouch.

Could you plse e-mail the password to deleted and advise as to how I locate and change it.

the original password was deleted but this does not work.

You might be able to manually reset your router, but you will likely need to know your various settings before proceeding unless you were running a default configuration, otherwise any custom settings might be reset in the process.

When my router fails and needs to be completely reset, I can't ever remember ny password either. Call the tech. support number for your ISP. Mine is Verizon and they usually walk me through all the steps to reset it and reconnect. I usually have to answer lots of security questions and give some info. from my last billing statement so have that handy when you call.
