I forgot my password & username for my router

I haven't been able to find a manual for the 530(v6) device, but was able to get one for the 510 - which states that the default username is "Administrator" and it has a blank password. This is stated on page 8 of the manual, which you should be able to find here:

Hi,

I haven't seen that error before, but it seems to be advising that it can't see the SpeedTouch device.

How does your computer connect to/with it...?

On my old ST routers, it connected with a USB cable.

My current setup means that the router connects (via network cable) to my firewall/switch, and all of my computers connect up from that... Or at least the first ones do, I have had to extend my network out to cover all areas of my home, including three Wireless Access Points...

The best way to logue on to the router is to type the mac address into your exlorer toolbar.
you will find that on a tag on the bottom or side of the router.
the usual default sign in is to type nothing.

I also suggest you going to the manufaterers website.
the manual would be helpful
