deleting a heap of hotmail emails

how can i delete a heap of hotmail emails in one go like in OE.
using the shift and down buttons like oe doesn't work in hotmail.

I want to know if i can delete a selection of email like i can in OE.
Select maybe a block of 17 emails in a page,miss a few,then select the next 5.

It sounds like the real problem is Spam. If that's the case, you should just abandon Hotmail and start somewhere else, being more careful with your e mail address.

As fast as you delete, more will come rolling in...

They have your "number" so to speak...
