Directional keys problem( Starfighter disputed galaxy)

everytime I go on starfighter disputed galaxy and I try to move if i press the right key my ship just keeps turning right or if i press the c key my ship just heals itself or if i press the x key my ship just boosts everytime until i cant go any faster... and then i have to keep pressing the button until it stops... is my keyboard jacked up or is it because of the game or the laptop?
