Multimedia audio controller

I have changed OS from Windows98 to Windows XP and lost audio and video functions. Processor type is: x86 Family 6 model 8 Stepping 6 GenuineIntel~567Mhz. The existing Multimedia Audio Controller is not supported by Windows XP. I'd like to find appropriate driver for XP and Processor type. Please, help me and send a message to <aabesadze@yahoo.com>

you could try doing a driver scan to see if there are any updated drivers for that device
i use driver magician lite you can get it here

but chances are, as the message states there is no xp support for that device in which case you would need to install a new soundcard that works with xp

I have never tried Driver Magician, but I do use DriverMax on a semi-regular basis. You will have to register on their website, but it has saved me a lot of time hunting down obscure drivers.
