sound driver problem

i am having audio problems with my computer.the motherboard name is Winfast and the audio driver is detected as realtek AC 97 but as i try to load drivers computer restarts.need your help

please do not put multiple posts of the same problem it causes confusion,
what are you using to detect hardware? have you tried downloading the drivers direct from motherboard website, what model of motherboard do you have, we need alot more info to try and help with your problem what are your full pc specs
