My explorer page comes on, then shuts down in a second to 10 seconds....I was having problems with it running very slow all of the sudden ..three days ago. I noticed a message that popped up a few times saying a Quickboks something wasn't a valid microsoft image, or something to the affect. So I deleted quickbooks from the computer thinking it may be a quick fix. It made the computer run a lot faster and stopped it from locking up. Now, it runs slow at times, but is much much better.
I have access to the internet, but the explorer page will not stay on screen. Most of the time, if you click on explorer, you get a white screen, then it goes off.....a few times, the screen comes on, the tool bars come on, then it goes off. The programs that have icons on the start up page will run, but anything that runs with that explorer page will not run. This is XP with explorer 7.
Any thoughts, help will be greatly appreciated!!
