I'm not entirely sure of the right place to ask this question, but this seemed like the most logical place.
I would like to rent a dedicated server for hosting Counter-Strike: Condition Zero servers. I have found a place that rents dedicated servers for a reasonable price, I was wondering if this would be sufficient to host, what would the quality be like, and any other information you can give me. I realize this is a cheap host, but I would like to know exactly what it can handle.
There are two different choices for me to choose from:
Atom Dual-Core 1.6 GHz
1 GB RAM 800 MHz
250 GB HD
2000 GB Transfer
5 IPS
100 MB Port
Celeron 2.4 GHz
512 MB RAM
120 GB IDE HD
1000 GB Transfer
5 IPS
I realize neither of these are great, but the top one probably being the better of the two, for my specific needs. Can you give me estimates of latency for people around the host, and how many servers I could host on it without major lag?
