So last night before I shut down outlook express asked me if I wanted to clean up my files and I clicked yes. Then today when I logged on all my emails were gone and it will not let me import the old emails back into outlook express. It has recreated the basic inbox, outbox, sent items, deleted items, and drafts and will not show any other folders that I previously had. Most of the time when I try to import them it will say the files are in use but even when I copy them to another location and it says the import is successful the folders never show up. It seems like there is some hidden preferences that do not allow those folders to show up. These folders contain a lot of important emails that I can't get back. Please help.
