waking up my laptops when they get an incoming chat

How can I make my laptop wake up to receive a video chat. I have 3 pcs of different ages and use Live Messenger for my video chats. If my laptop is asleep I don't get the incoming call. Is there an easy way to address this? I've read about remote wake or wake on lan but am not sure if it applies to me. Any help would be appreciated.

Have the person send an email to one of the other machines so you'll know to wake up the lappy...That or don't let it go into sleep mode.

The remote wakeup - allows you to site at one pc and wake another one up...But, you'd have to know in advance that a chat was coming in...
