MS Word 2003

When I start MS Word (or EXCEL) a box pops up that says "Please wait while Windows configures MS Office Pro 2003". I can cancel and go into the app or wait and another box pops up that says "Error 25090 Office setup encountered a problem........". I can cancel out of that also and go into the app. Any suggestions on getting rid of this?

That sounds like a problem with Windows Installer, which is usually fixed by downloading and installing the latest version.
