Transfer rate for captured video on Pinnacle 9.4
I have two separate Hard Disc Drive storage devices, a Freecom 250 gig and an Iomega Terrabyte.
On Pinnacle 9.4 I have no problem capturing video from my JVC camera to the Freecom but if I try to capture direct to the Iomega I get an error message 'Data transfer rate insufficient to meet the required 4213 Kbytes/second'. The Iomega transfer rate is 480 Mbytes/second which is far greater than required. Both storage devices are connected to my Acer laptop thru USB2 ports and I have no problem transferring avi files direct from the Freecom to the Iomega. Are there any settings that need to be changed to match the Iomega to the Freecom?
