HDD/ODD/eSATA

On my toshiba laptop, there are 5 system indicator lights on the bottom right. According to the manual, they are DC in, power, main battery, HDD/ODD/eSATA and Multiple digital media card.
The HDD light blinks green/white ALOT! Even when I am not running anything.

What does this mean? Should I be concerned?

It's just hard drive activity. If it seems excessive, it may point to the need to defragment the drive.
