does eudora support multiple user accounts?

that's pretty much the question. I'm transitioning from one account to the next (new school), and I need to handle the transition. can eudora do it?

Yes, it will handle multiple POP3 accounts all at the same time. I have 5 accounts in Eudora and it's set to check all of them at the same time. You just set them up under Tools/Personalities.

leads to this question. I set up a second personality other than my "dominant" one. However, I was sort of hoping that I could basically treat the two accounts independently. When I checked my mail with the new account, it just put it in the "IN" box that everything seems to go into. I don't want to mix the stuff between the two accounts. do you know how to do this, because I don't find the help to be particularly useful.

If you go to Address Book and then click on the Filters tab, it will allow you to make a filter that will transfer any mail coming to the second account to whatever folder you want it to go to.
