Toner Empty Message Brother MFC 7820N

After inserting a new cartridge, BRT TN350, it repeatedy lights and reads "Toner Empty". I have covered the sensor windows on each end of the cartridge. Still reads empty. Help!

You should try taking the cartridge out and very gently shaing it from side to side to try and even out the toner.

Have already tried that, no success.

What else have you tried?

Is the cartridage an excat match to what the printer needs?
Did the cartridge come from a legit retail store?

Does the manual shed any light?

Have you replaced the sensor bulb/led?? Have you checked the alignment?
