Compaq presario V5000 LAN Driver

Hi,

I have tried to look for this driver everywhere but have not got it yet (The ones I got so far dont work).... I tried downloading from hp site but it doesn't work.. Can anyone help me with this please..

Give us the whole model number, what comes after 5000?

Product search results
What operating system?
Is it on-board or PCI expansion?
I'll look, but HPs support of compaq is a joke, when it comes to drivers.

Thanks for a reply.. Actually I got a gift from my boss. Its used and not new. The think is its only writtern Presario V5000 on the screen. There is nothing writtern after that.. Is there anyway to get the full model?

Look on the bottom of it for the model number information.

Hi,

There is nothing in the bottom. I think my company staff who was using it has removed it. But I got the model number from the bios. Its Presario V5000 (EZ430UA#ABA).. Will that help on finding this driver?

These are the drivers that come up for that second number you posted, not sure why it is different from the first number you posted.

Select software and drivers Compaq Presario V5207NR Notebook PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

Maybe 5000 is just a group number.
