19" Flatron monitor just blinks...
One day this monitor just stopped working... when I plug it in the screen will blink every second for a minute or two then stays black. I originally thought it was a power supply problem, I checked the caps and they all check out. I downloaded the service manual and followed the flow chart until it told me to check the 'key control connector routine' - now I'm lost, any one have any idea what I should do next?

How old is this monitor? Sometimes they do die, then its just cheaper to buy a new monitor rather than having one fixed.

it' s only a few years old. I replaced all the caps and still same issue... there is one pin that goes to the controller card it is supposed to be 3.3v but it is only 1.8v. Not sure what to look for that could be causing a low voltage there. It seems to me that the controller gets just enough power to turn the lamps on then the voltage dips and the lamps turn off, voltage rises, lamps turn on again - flashing lamps. Any ideas what could cause this?

Pacific Rim does look pretty good. I'd like to see 'Man of Steel' too.
