start up problems with my acer aspire one netbook

my acer aspire one netbook is putting out the following message and keeps trying to start up...but never gets started...

Lsass.exe system error where it’s stuck in a booting circle with “insufficient system resources exit to complete the API”

can anyone help me solve this problem so I can get the netbook to start up? thanks

Welcome to TechIMO.

This is frequently caused by a virus or other malware infection. The first thing you should do is stat in safe mode, then start up your AV and perform a complete scan.

Thank you for your speedy answer...
I am not able to start it up in any safe mode..with networking or with command prompts......it will not let me....I even tried the enable boot logging and vga mode and last known good configeration...or any of the other things on the menu.. just keeps on trying to start and stops at the same message...too bad they do not come with a cd/dvd/drives. I do have the cds that came with it...what do you think I should do now? Thanks again. ...bjblaw

You'll have to borrow or buy an external CD drive to recover the operating system.
