Failed Notebook PS / Brick
Hello all
Well here is my conundrum.
I have an Inspiron 8200 and it started reporting low voltage from the power source.
When I located and used another power supply all was fine. (once)
After using it a while and rebooting it reported low voltage again.
I'm thinking it has a bad battery that is shorting the brick.
Any ideas or suggestions.
As always thanks in advance for reading and any thoughts.

It should run without the battery. Did you try that?
Of course, it should also run with a bad battery.

Have you tired re booting without the battery?
And can you check the power supply with a voltmeter?Obama: The rich have the Federal Reserve and the poor have Harry Reid... LOL. Life really is unfair!

Oh, you can sit, just don't touch. I'll wince and cry like a baby.
