Bleh, even Yahoo users run into this. We've got several threads from Yahoo users asking the same questions. It all comes down to making sure you are secure with your passwords and your PCs.

    Your account has been blocked

    Why are you seeing this?
Someone may have used your account to send out a lot of junk messages (or something else that violates the Windows Live Terms of Service).
We're here to help you get your account back.
What do you need to do?
We'll walk you through a few steps to verify that you own the account, then have you change your password in case someone else has been accessing your account. It should only take a few minutes and then you'll be unblocked and on your way.
    We've cleaned your account settings
Often customers get here because someone else has access to your account and are using it without your knowledge to send spam. To protect you and your contacts, we've removed any Hotmail auto-replies or linked accounts you may have had.

The next page was the verification code as explained before.
It is not my account so does not have user name pammybabe.
The hot mail account was used last week without any problems.

@OLIVIA - All you did was quote a previous post is there a question here?

The answer on how to unblock accounts has been provided numerous times

I think I've answered this numerous times with this same response.

You'll need to follow the steps on the reset password page and yourself the unlock code. It either goes to a secondary email account that you should have setup or your cellphone. If you don't have either then you need to do the following.

my case is worse! when I try to log in to one of my Hotmail accounts, it loads up with the "this internet page cannot be displayed" page. so...last night I tried phoning the hotmail UK tech team(btw...why is it that you always get through to someone of Pakistani or Indian origin?), explained the situation & they requested the remote link, so they could see what the problem was, they had a root around...but their findings were far from the reason as to why I can log into hotmail with one account, but not the other! so...he put me through to a colleague of his, he had a similar root around, then he did something inexplicable! he turned off my antivirus shield....luckily I caught this early & switched it back on. i've checked my computer, & so far, no probs. he could've easily planted a virus. the moral of this is...that Hotmail tech service only seems to consist of Pakistani or Indian of which, there's the language barrier of which you've to cross(most of them prob don't understand half of what your saying anyway!). also...half or most of the time, they root around your system(via remote link) & present causes which are unrelated to your problem! & lastly...there's the remote link...i just don't trust it at all, you may as well leave your system open to attack! especially if the person on the other end is switching off your internet protection!

As mentioned previously if you are locked out of your account you HAVE TO contact Hotmail directly for support! The links are provided above. Send them a message or create a thread in the official Microsoft Hotmail forums and they can help you further.

I'm always weary of 3rd party, or non affiliated sites and services helping to recover email access....

    hotmailhelp.co.uk reliable? - Microsoft Community

More than a few times in past I have reported links, and even deleted/banned people when I see that Hotmail Help site posted.

Removed the related posts, with the shady links! I'm not sure why people don't understand the steps involved are pretty simple and no need to try some shady third party site. All you need to do is go to the Microsoft Community Hotmail Forums create a thread and one of their moderators will help you out. They work with Microsoft and Hotmail and have direct access to your account info and can provide direct support.
