I might be a mind reader when I say he might be wanting a WDS setup. If that's the case the hardware needs to support that.

i was wondering if a router can connect to another router via wirelessly and i so how to do this i have 2 netgear routers N300's

If you look in the wireless settings do you have the option to set up one router as a wireless bridge?
