SB PCI 128 drivers for Win98?

I am re-installing Windows 98se on a friends machine who has lost her driver disk for the Sound Blaster PCI 128 card.

The drivers don't install from their site (and I don't care for their support).

Anyone have a copy or a link to of the full drivers so I can get some sound?

so do you want the drivers for xp or for 98? title differs from content.
for 98, go here: http://www.americas.creative.com/sup...=4&descID=1249

for xp, go here: http://www.americas.creative.com/sup...13&descID=1251

what's wrong with your site? seem to work fine
hope it helps

Windows 98se

Their drivers are only updates and not stand alone installs.

I have tried the drivers with the clean install of Windows 98 and it doesn't work.

That is why I need the original files from the CD that came with the product.

Thanks.

those links are actually stand alone drivers, there is also an option for upgrades

This is a new stand-alone driver release for the Sound Blaster PCI128 for users running Windows 95 or Windows 98.

the fact that its se shouldn't make any difference I wouldn't think

so you have tried those files? and it still doesn't work? interesting..

You need the *.ecw files for the card to work properly as well as the driver you'll find here: http://www.americas.creative.com/sup...entric=17&OS=4

I have the same card, and I have the drivers at home. I'll see if I can email them or something to you later.

I have the same card, and I dont need drivers ! Both Linux and WinXP support this card natively.

Edit:
Oops, should have looked more carefully. You have 98, not XP. Doh.
