Computer Froze and Error it Gave

My computer froze while playing an FPS recently. I let it sit there for a bit and then it restarted on its own. It then gave me this error:

szModName : ati2dvag.dll szModVer : 6.13.10.6094 Offset : AA1F06EA

I think it's a video driver error but I don't understand why.
I have a Radeon 8500 64MB (with the latest drivers)
Running XP


My computer freezes in:
-Counterstrike
-Jedi Knight II
-Serious Sam


Could it be that they all use the same engine?

Well...I have never used a radeon card, so take this advice how you will. I would advise to at least attempt to install an older set of drivers for the card (or newer if ATI has them released) to see if that makes a difference. I know that if I have an issue with any of Nvidia's drivers, I have always compared results with a few other sets. My op. Good luck man, there is nothing more frustrating then to be in the heat of battle and have your pc lock up or shutdown on you!!! :P

My computer has a lot of problems so it's really worth it.

CS crashed for me too, so does Moh:AA. But i'm using a gf2....
