Power problem
Never heard of this one. This is happening for over a week. When I turn on computer it won't turn on most of the time. 1 out of 4 times it will take two minutes and then power on if I leave it alone. It has randomly shut down twice in past week.
When the power does not come on there are no lights on mobo, no beeping, no fan on PSU. Does this sound like the PSU is bad? Does anyone have any idea whatt can be wrong?
I have recently replaced MotherBoard, CPU and RAM.
> Mainboard : Gigabyte P67X-UD3-B3
> Processor : Intel Core i5 2500K @ 3300MHz
> Physical Memory : 4096MB (2 x 2048 DDR3-SDRAM )
> OCZ GameXstream 700 W
> Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS
> Hard Disk : Hitachi HDT725032VLA360 ATA Device (320GB)
> DVD-Rom Drive : ASUS DVD-E616A3T
> DVD-Rom Drive : Toshiba-Samsung CDDVDW SH-S203B
> Monitor Type : Samsung SyncMaster - 22 inches
> Network Card : Realtek Semiconductor RTL8168/8111 PCIe Gigabit Ethernet Adapter
> Operating System : Windows Vista (TM) Home Premium
Thanks for any help.

assuming all power connections are connected to board, etc, and no shorts (no extra mobo standoffs touching mobo or loose bare wires or anything shorting/grounding), it does sound like it would be the PSU.
You said you switched the mobo, CPU & RAM, was this after or before the problems started?
I had an OCZ 700W GameXStream a couple years ago as well, but it eventually died on me, actually died 2 or so months after was put into a friends build with lesser hardware on it than I had benn running. Even while plugged into a surge protector its entire life, seems a power outage/brown out had finally killed it, must of been the proverbial straw.i7 940//Corsair H60//EVGA X58 SLI LE//6GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz//2x EVGA GTX 560 Ti FPB SLI//NZXT Hale82 850W//CM 690 II Advanced//Win7 64//WD 74GB V-raptor, 750GB Black, 1.5TB Green

Motherboard died a year ago and i let it sit for 6 months before rebuilding. This rebuild is 3 months old.
I will test it with another PSU this weekend.

Thank you for the swift reply. As far as I can tell there is no NVidia graphics card pre-installed. The system is an every-day-machine intended for Photoshop related work as well as light 3d...
