win2000 and formating disk
I have installed win2k on my computer. The problem is that I dont know how to format my C drive (disk have no partitions) because win2k does not alow me to do it (sure, win2k won't make suicide).
Is it solution to go in "Safe mode with command prompt" or what, coz' I don't know how to get DOS mode with boot disks.
Thanks.

Ok, if i understand this - you had Windows 2K installed, but now you want to format your C: drive. Is this where you had Win2K installed at?
To format a HDD or create/remove partitions, boot from the CD.Im against picketing, but I dont know how to show it.

control pannel>admin tools>computer management > disk manager
this will give you a veiw of your drives and the option to format or change the drives.

This might be helpful
Or Maybe this
You should be able to go into BIOS, and set it to boot from CD-ROM, put in the 2000 disk, and restart. It should then give you the option to boot from hard disk, or cd-rom, choose cd-rom, and partition it from there.
The impossible takes more time, and costs more money.
