| Installed New RAM and Monitor does not get a signal
My Motherboard is an ASRock G43Twins-FullHD, and I just installed 8 GBs of new RAM (G.SKILL DDR3-1333MHz PC3 - 10600 'http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231422'). When the new RAM is in the computer the monitor reads, "No Signal." After that I put the original RAM back in the computer and it ran normally. Any suggestions?

I also tried to start the computer with just one stick, and neither of them worked as well.

Welcome to TechIMO!
Is this your Board? ASRock > Products > G43Twins-FullHD
Pretty sure it is incompatible.
That board, only takes 1066/800 , RAM
In most cases it should clock down and work, but not always.
The only thing you can try, is use the old RAM, and go into the BIOS, and see if it has any RAM settings.
Maybe setting speed manually will work

also try testing only 1 stick of ram each, to make sure its not a bad pair or bad stick in the pair thats causing it.
also it could be something as goofy as not supporting double sided RAM sticks as well, if the new ones are double sided and the old are single sided.

It is rare today, but it still happens.
I like to check with the motherboard manufacturer, for their recommendations.
I even look at the New Egg reviews, for people with the same motherboard, or laptop.
I was in a hurry once, and believed the first review, I came to.
Had I read the next six reviews, I would have found six very angry people that believed him also. They set me straight though.
I still have that perfectly good, useless DDR laptop memory.

What kind of DDR is it? (Speed wise and Size, I have a Laptop that could make use of some RAM increase, using DDR I believe, also needs a bigger hard drive for it, but the RAM is only like 256 or 512MB capacity, runs XP, but runs VERY sluggish with the RAM and slow 10GB Hard drive)

Sorry, I was out watching the Pats loose.
It is Kingston PC2100 266mhz Value RAM 2.5v
I have 2-512 sticks
If you want it, I 'll send it, and if it works, you can send what ever you think it is worth.
It probably would have eventually been thrown away, anyway.
Nothing that uses it has shown up in 2 years.
