My printer is out of black ink. I need something printed in the next 30 minutes. I have tried highlighting the material and selecting other colors but it still won't print. The printer keeps flashing the message change black ink. Any ideas how I can print something?

E-mail it to yourself (or put it on a USB drive) and go to an internet café to get it printed there..?
EDIT: Just realised that I'm "too late" to help for now - hope you got it sorted..

Some notes for future reference:
Some printers simply will not print if they detect an empty ink supply. This is done often with printers that use ink tanks separate from the print head as a way of ensuring the head doesn't burn out. On cheaper models where the head is built in to the cartridge, it doesn't matter if it burns out and the driver will usually allow you to print until the cartridge is completely dry. With those models, it is usually possible to change text color and have the color cartridge do the work. If the print head is separate, then you are SOL.
It is best practice to always keep a set of tanks/cartridges in reserve. As long as they are kept in sealed condition as they came from the supplier, they should last several years.Good job, friend-of-friends!
